02 fevre bougros

Stephen South
2002 Domaine William Fevre, Chablis Grand Cru, Bougros, 13% alc....really aging wonderfully well....rich and crisp and focused....no premox....
Great with Barb's leek/mushroom/chard tart in a pie crust and tarragon carrots

There have been more damn bottles of premox in the the 02 Chablis from Fevre than Mitt Romney has regrets on his last political endeavor.

Had a bottle of this in April 2010 and it was semi-oxidative. Good bottle, not great. Grateful yours proved more appealing! I have one bottle of Chablis left in the cellar, all gone (and too many gone before gone). Drinking 'em on release now if purchased at all. Barb can cook!

Ditto. I poured more 2002 Fevre Chablis down the drain than I drank. That includes all the grand crus. Never again will Fevre cross my threshold.
