A nice cheap Loire SB

BJ

BJ
2012 Tydy VdPdVdL Sauvignon Blanc. Quite delicious, and edging into good Sancerre territory. $10 retail here in Seattle. I'm often disappointed by these Loire SB cheapies, but not this one. Brought in by Becky Wasserman.

The same wine is sometimes sold under the label 'grand ballon,' depending on the market you're in, fwiw. I think it's tasty stuff, too, and the rosè they produce is pretty nice, as well.

though maybe a tick or two more, via vineyard brands the patient cottat grand caillou sauvignon is another winner.

I like that one too, but actually prefer the Tydy, at least compared to the vintages of the Cottat I've had.
