I always thought there was a stylistic change around '99...to say nothing of the hail that also affected the wines that year.
Didn't he lose some key SS holdings around that time too (Neive?)?
Have to say...an '82 Falletto (white) label had stunning aromatics recently, such a great bottle of wine.
