Clos Rougeard's Facebook page had a link to a piece about the vineyard written by Benjamin Lewin. I was unfamiliar with the site, but after having read many posts think it is excellent and would be enjoyed by the disorderlies.

I hope he will edit the article from "Best red wine of the Loire" to "Among the best red wines of the Loire."

My Noodle, he's that Benjamin Lewin?

I was a big fan of an older edition of Genes, though I'm not current these days.

I'm a bit surprised to see him resort to such language as "class and breed" to endorse the Clos Rougeard, not that I disagree.

I have some vague memory of reading him before and being startled, but it's been a while and I'd forgotten.
