Should either of these be purchased?

ERIC TEXIER COTE DU RHONE (WHOLESALE) 2006

ERIC TEXIER BREZEME COTES DU RHONE 2010

Thanks!

We sell it in our store but I can say with all honesty that Eric's wines are in my own cellar and I consume them with great pleasure.

Anyone had the 2011 St Gervais Les Cardinieres recently? I had a bottle a few weeks back and it was painfully primary with a confected-esque nose that made me think someone had switched bottles on me. (Not the style I remember from previous experiences)

I assume it just needs time, although I mainly stay on the northern side of things.

This. Very much so.

brezeme is 100% syrah. my guess is that the cotes du rhone not brezeme is a typical cotes du rhone blend--lots of grenache along with the usual suspects.

Rahsaan, the Cadinières vineyard is now a very nice swimming pool build by a rich englishman in 2010...

The predictable future for southern vineyards in France!

Yes, it's most likely the Côtes du Rhône Vaison La Romaine if you purchased at Cave Taureau.

Is there a story of how it came to be?

I wish more of your wines would be available here.
