F#king merlot

I know Miles has a bias against this grape but.....

2001 Paloma Merlot, alc 14.8%.....really drinking well...soft, smooth with great fruit...still doing great...

Next day...finished the Paloma, tons of sediment

2005 Pride Merlot, alc 14.8%....not nearly as good....a bit tired...a bit more sour....meh

Addendum. Barb is a much bigger fan of he Pride
