Finger Lakes Riesling

Interesting tasting in yesterday's NYT that yet again reminds me of my nagging itch to taste more current efforts from the Finger Lakes.

The Wiemer stuff is available here and there in NYC, and I haven't found it life-changing, but I think I need to get out more. Do people agree with these choices, or are there others that you favor?

Just finished my last bottle of Eminence Road last night. Dry. Lime. Shale. And under 11%.
I think of them as Catskills, but you are right, they get some grapes from farther northwest.

I like Anthony Road and Bloomer Creek as well as Dr. Frank but often find too much SO2 in many of the FLX rieslings. Also "dry" seems to be a term that is up for interpretation.

Eminence Road uses all Finger Lakes fruit.

I'm stumped, and I need help: A visitor coming from London wants to know where to find Finger Lakes wines for sale in NYC. He's also interested in wines from Virginia, Michigan, Missouri, etc. Are there any US specialists in NYC?
