CHD: High art ham steak recipe?

Well, we pan seared one side flipped it, brushed on some dijon, a bit of fresh grated nutmeg and topped with thinly sliced apple. Covered the pan and cooked for a few minutes until ham was heated through and the apple slices were soft. Have to say the nutmeg was a stroke of genius. Bam!

Will make a fancy ham salad with the leftovers using some of Christian's suggestions.

Really should have opened a riesling but didn't have enough enthusiasm.

Ian: kale totally rules. We have been growing it for years and put it in/on everything.

Thanks everyone for all the great suggestions.
