Huet: a miss and a hit

started by opening a 375 ml 2000 Huet Clos du Bourg Sec....badly oxidized and unpleasant...moved on to a 375 ml 2007 Huet Le Mont Sec...really singing....great texture, fresh and vibrant...

Is it unrealistic to expect a half bottle from 2000 to still be "good"??

If well stored and not premoxed, a 2000 sec should be great. The 1967 LHL sec is pretty great now from 750, for calibration.

As long as Vouvray do not suffer from Alsace half bottle problem... do they?
