We drunk a bottle of Delys in September at Reynard and enjoyed it even if the wine's structure was a little forbidding. Maybe it was the 2010 and not the 2011.
That does sound more like the 2010 than the 2011 to me. One of the things that surprised me about the 2011 was that the usual forbidding structure wasn't a factor at all.
I just greatly enjoyed reading the soyouwanttobeasommelier Roddolo visit and will certainly give the dolcetto a try. Not sure if you're meant to read between the lines about the ageability of the different vintages but the verdict certainly seems to be positive on the 1996.
