2003 Jacques Puffeney Arbois Poulsard M, alc 13,5%, $24.99 the tag reads....
pale translucent shimmering red in the glass...nose has a hint of pepper...palate is much more dense than the color might predict....great savory leafy notes on top of a great fruit base...changes with each sip....good acidity and "cruchiness" ....really great with leftover beef paprikash....

wish this still was $25 a bottle

Bought my 2009's for $25 a couple years ago, and that was on the west coast. So, now it's what, all of $27/$28?

Puffeney's 2003s were great. Some of my favorite wines from the continent in that vintage.
