Quantifying Terrior with Chemistry

Is there a reason why these supposed scientists can't design a study with clear theories and hypotheses, then execute them in an unbiased way to achieve statistically-significant results?

Very cool article, thanks.

You read that kind of thing, and you suspect that the researchers might not have been laying out the coin to purchase what you and I might consider the most terroir-expressive wines from each spot. Indeed, they are at risk from unscrupulous big houses.

I would want .sasha to pre-screen the samples.

If they could do this in Biotech we could save billions. I do love how other scientists always point out the flaws in a study post-hoc.

Heh. It's really hard to design a proper study, but the alternative is to waste your time and money to produce unusable "results".

I don't rise to bait as easily as a native brown trout.
