I dunno. Maybe not actually prevented from ever posting again. Sorta forced out? Yeah, a couple people, one of whom has never posted here, and should, because unlike the rest of us it's not like he's ever pissed anyone off.

Who is banning Thor and why?

I have not seen any evidence that anything is going on. I know everyone likes attention and loves conspiracies but where is the evidence that there is an anti-Thor or anti-Joe Perry thing going on.

I am not big fans of either of those posters but they are certainly part of the community here. I just ignore them, particularly when they start up about how they are on the verge of being banned.

Really. It is so immature. I suppose it makes them feel they are important and controversial. Maybe even Mavericks.

Well, I wont be reposting any more notes (to the dismay of very few). I thought it was a good idea, but having your words and photos screwed with is a step too far. Flames and such I can deal with. I'm fairly sure the post fucking is limited to me, so the rest of you shouldn't let this stop you. I would love a searchable database with even a little of what we had on WT.

Apparently, someone fooled around with Joe Perry's posts yesterday.

I don't know who is responsible for doing this, but it should stop immediately.

It is really against the spirit and intent of this board.

I for one, want to go on record as being against this form of manipulation. I hope Joe can be persuaded to repost his original material. I'm not sure what was changed, but I think sufficient pressure can be put on the politburo by committed members of this board to ensure that Joe's original material remains untouched. I hope Joe is not putting up inappropriate photos of his wife, but I think that it more important for Joe to feel free to post inappropriate pictures of his wife than for someone to unilaterally create a chilling effect on this board against the wishes of the vast majority of Wine disorder's members.

So, will whoever played with young Joe's post kindly restore it to its original form? Mucking around with people's posts, even in fun, really is not what this community wants nor expects from the glorious leaders.

This is precisely why this unwarranted action was so stupid. I would ask that the Politburo member that did this man up, admit they did it, apologize here to Joe Perry and promise not to alter any posts in the future. In fact, perhaps they should resign from the Politburo.

Just plain stupid and unacceptable.
