But I could not resist posting this. My work the last year has been for the norwegian wine-monopoly. Of the 300 shops we have there are seven fine wine-shops. The goal is to make the worlds best wine-shop for fine wine. My job is as Product Manager for these shops. Six times a year we launch wines that fit in a pre-defined theme. All bottles in store, first come gets first served, no pre-orders possible. In February it is Burgundy. This year the focus is the 2011-vintage. So here is the list of what will be available in our store from Thursday at 10 A.M.

Here is the list of our offer

for those interested to have a look. The first two persons lined up in queue on monday. Threee days before the shop opens and spending the nights in the cold winter in Oslo.

That's an excellent list. How many bottles, in total, for all of Norway?

I don't have the numbers here right now, but I'll guess around 35000 bottles.
...to be shared among 5,000,000 Norwegians. Got it.

This is some serious dedication, Egil !
And I thought the guys in the UK had a tough life with allocations :-)
