Cancer

Turns out I got brain cancer.

Rather than bore everyone here with the details, or to take my blog away from core wine discussion, I have started a new exciting blog to discuss this multi-faceted and interesting question.

Don't miss:

Oh, gosh, Joe, when I saw the title of the thread, I feared the worst, and it is. All I can say is hang in there and we are all pulling for you!

Startling news, but your new site does not seem to have a Preview Function.

I am sorry the Bourgueil Clos Snchal 2005 from Pierre Breton does not seem to be moving as well as it should. I will see what I can do to help.

If you tire of NYU Medical Center, skip Memorial Sloan Kettering. Ted Kennedy can put you in touch with some people. Feel better soon!

Sad news.

In your honor, I opened an '04 Brun blanc tonight. Lovely wine, though not a perfect match for turkey soup. Probably will be very nice with the cheese, though.

The four Camblors in this household are still wondering what to say, Joe. We couldn't care less about saying the wrong thing (especially Sabina, who keeps hollering something that sounds like "Happy Birthday!" out in the hallway. My first reaction involved the word "Fuck", with my habitual elongated vowel to signify dandyish concern and sadness. But that just doesn't do it either and probably involves some sort of copyright violation. Julian proposes "Wobo". Josie's looking over my shoulder in stunned silence. I've told her that's not particularly useful and that "stunned" isn'ts omething one should be for so long, but you know her...

At any rate, we'll smile with you. And are happy you have decided to pursue your vendettas. Also, have bookmarked your new blog and will advertise it to my Spanish readership, among whom you have many fans.

David:

What religious faith are you praying in?

I hope to have all bases covered.

I have a Nigerian priest working for me, but am weak on Jews.

Thanks,

Joe
