I went to K&L on Saturday in need of a good browse. I usually find myself in the "other" section. I was happy to see a bottle of Bone Jolly as I worked my way down the aisle. I settled on a bottle of 2012 Forlorn Hope Mil Amores, and I am glad I did. I had no idea what I was drinking, but I was intrigued. The wine has a lovely rose scent, nice tannins and a good acidity to balance the fruit. According to the winery website, the wine is made from Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, and Trincadeira, and the grapes come from the Sierra Foothills. The wine was about $20.
