2009 Todd Brothers Ranch Old Vines Alexander Valley: sour cherry, tingle ly acidity, dry tannins, real good for 30 ish minutes then closes down for the night.
2009 Florence vineyard Dry Creek Valley: once this opened up it was really pretty. Some rose petal, light on the tongue, a touch riper or sweeter than the Todd Bro's but I really like this. One of the more floral zin's I've drank.
2009 Louvau Vineyard old vines Dry Creek Valley: the bigger of the three, spicy, black pepper, some bacon or grilled meat too.
All three had the basic California Zin profiles but subtly so. I've no idea ow these will age but my guess is they will soften and become quite good in 3-5 years. Well done Michael.
