Hello,
Last friday, Cole K. became the first "no-parisien" CEO of the TGJP with the "greek name" of Le Bon Tyran (LBT for the members). In a tribute to LBT, we made a very nice dinner with 8 Languedoc-Roussillon 2010 (Anglore, Maxime Magnon, Montcalmès, Barral, Clos Marie & Clos du Rouge Gorge) and a Quarts-de-chaume (Surronde). See
www.tgjp.com and click on the Cole's picture.
Ask any questions on the forum and I will try to answer.
Best regards

Poulette jaune is looking pretty verte in that picture.

Anyway, congratulations Cole. Instead of an orb and scepter will the symbols of your reign by a torchon of foie gras and a carrot?

It's a "poulette jaune farcie aux herbes" (under the skin, you push herbs and butter). So it's green.

I think Cole's regalia will consist of a slice of lardo lightly heated and oozing on a nice piece of crusty bread.

Many thanks for the wishes.

The poulette started yellow but got very green.

Lardo was delicious and so were Kate G's "jesu" and other salami from Lyon.

I employ the classic weaponry of tyrants and have a "porte-gourdin" (cudgel bearer) to enforce order. Like all tyrants I am always looking over my shoulder and hope that it will be a long time before Le Bon Usurpateur (or whoever's next). http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usurpateur_romain
