NWR: Bettie Page, 1923-2008 RIP

Thanks, Scott. Ms. Page had a difficult slog, but we're all better off for her gifts. My wife spent several years making her living as a figure model, so I think I have some ancillary understanding of the nature of her once-in-a-generation talents, especially in the ridiculously difficult era she worked. She was a great American, unappreciated in her day, but finally in this era given the respect she deserved. We're all better off for her work, even if we don't know it.
