Only one recent experience - a bottle of 2010 Auxey 1er at Auprès du Clocher. Not sure why, but I have trouble remembering if it was Chapelle or Duresses; I think the former.
Great quality, certainly. I was expecting something else though, at least something else would have been more fitting with my meal. Seems like perfectly nice dirt, but it's no Clos de Beze and thus I wanted it to be a little more tart, perhaps even dialed down a notch. Maureen - when you go, I'd be curious to know how much they chaptalized 2010 1er Cru, and if it's more than 0.2-0.3 then why.

definitely a fan. agree with keith though...their new labels are in the running for "most disappointing label change" along with Jaboulet, Chevillon, and Beaucastel.

Don't forget the new Chandon de Briailles label... Oddly, the 2011 Les St Georges I got from Wine Library still has the classy old Chevillon label. Not sure what their system is.

I've stopped buying new Chevillon because of the label. I stopped buying Jaboulet and Beaucastle because of the wine.

What??? Jeez, I sit out buying a vintage or two and several of my favorite labels change. I almost dread seeing what the new labels for Chevillon and CdB look like.

This has been countered, at least aromatically, by the new scratch and sniff labels.

Why don't you tell us? This producer has been in US circulation at least since the '80s with reasonably priced (last I checked they remained almost affordable for sane people), well-made Auxey-Duresses wines. More like hip replacement than hipster, I would say.
