Come Clean

Come CleanWhat spoofy, pointy wine do you like?

Mine would be Guigal La Mouline.

I really enjoyed the ones from the 80s ( e.g. 83, 88 ) , but they became increasingly woody in the subsequent decades, no?

78 and 88 are all time favorites. Still need to try the legendary 66. I also had a 74 at Berns that was amazing.

To me the vineyard still shines through even in the more recent vintages with heavy handed winemaking.

In my dreams I would love to have a Dard & Ribo La Mouline!

Cap'n Crunch.

Though it shreds the roof of my mouth.

Have you read Neal Stephenson's Cryptonomicon? Great set piece in there about Cap'n Crunch (the cereal, not the phreaker)

Brilliant bit. I'd forgotten it was about Cap'n Crunch specifically. It really has a deeper meaning that applies to all breakfast cereals.
