I second Woodlot.
Toronto is a tough food & wine city for me.
Momofuku has two restaurants there.

There are a lot of really good restaurants in Toronto these days. But of course, come to the Woodlot. How could you not?
Wine lists have improved in recent years, but we're never going to catch up with the rest of the world.
Go to the Atlantic on Dundas West. Nathan Isberg is chief cook and bottle washer. He has abandoned the menu. He will ask you about preferences and allergies, and then will bring you food until you've had enough. Then you can pay him excessively. The food is delicious, adventurous and idiosyncratic. For wine, byo.
If you are here tomorrow (Wednesday), come to the Gilead Wine Bar for a taste of some local bubbly.

Hey, I went to Woodlot, missed Jeff, but had a great time. Excellent pork (and bread). And the Garreliere chenin and CF was delish, with a special nod to the chenin. Owner David and wine importer Nate were excellent wine companions, with David sharing some of the Prince Edward County wines. Very nice space and a very good time! Highly recommended.

The Woodlot dudes said to check it out. It was great! Sort of a Korean fusion gig. Cheap and quality. Good neighborhood vibe.
I should have mentioned, they were having a major Steve Miller Band fest at Woodlot, and that was fun.
