Holy hell is this good. Had with dinner (roast chicken) Saturday night and was floored by the quality of the wine. Silky and seamless with loads of fruit but also structure and nuance. One of those wines that you could easily drink several bottles of at a sitting and not get sick of it. I've been pretty impressed with Descombes over the last few years, but I wasn't prepared for this. Not cheap, but well worth the price. As an added bonus, the 2011 is the current release.
 
The 2010 was probably my favorite Beaujolais of the vintage. Where have you seen the 2011? Wine-searcher doesn't turn it up.

We brought some in for Rue Cler. I'm sure it'll be at Chambers before long.
