Les Betes Curieuses' Muscadets (collaboration twixt Jeremies Huchet and Mourat) are new on the market and worth trying, at least. The regular bottling, the Gorges, and the Clisson were all praiseworthy when we opened them early this year.

French regions and departments often take a definite article: the Vaucluse, the Beauce, and so forth, but the Burgundy? I've never heard of the Muscadet referred to that way.
