And posturing.

And rants.

And off-topic discussions.

And . . .

That's my recollection as well. I also believe that Eden M. was banned or kicked off or purged, maybe in the pre-Ebob days?

Yeah, things got a little tetchy over purported international proceedings blown way out of proportion by persons for whom such pernicious blowharding was perceived as potentially politically propitious to their pursuits.

While not purely prohibited from posting, it was made plain that my presence was unwelcome on that site because I "riled the savages" (as someone put it, or so I was told) so I absented myself of the premises for a period. Ultimately, the miscreants among the proletariat came to the realization that it was not I who had caused the hysteria and a request came to begin posting once again. So as to not rile anyone up, I've used a nom de plume that changes regularly. I've enjoyed being "Sharon Bowman" for the past year or so but am tiring of trying to maintain that persona (paying that model to go to NY last month to maintain my cover was trs Cher (believe, baby!!!) but I think some people may be onto me so I'm thinking of changing back into being FL Jim again (the one posting on the wine forum, not the food one, because that's another subaltern entirely).

And that's all I've got to say on the subject.

Eden do you take credit for being Virginia Guadalupe?

I think that Dr. Lisa maintains that franchise.

Sad to say, but I'm not virgin anything these days.

Please refresh your memories of the FAQ.

Huh?

I have a cool, innovative idea. Why doesn't the buro just make it so that every time ebob is written, 'censored' appears instead?
I think replacing it with fuckwad would be funny; like a fuckwadish question...

Or they could do what a forum my wife is on did. The powers that be at Rock And Roll Confidential got so tired of people bickering about a band called The Darkness when they came out a few years ago, that they used a word filter to change "The Darkness" whenever it was used to "that guy I sucked off last night" much to the humor of many. Don't know if that would work so much in this context. Let's see if they try it. Personally I couldn't give a shit.

Dr. Lisa? Really? Everyone thought it was you.

Whoever it was deserves kudos.

Don't believe the hype. Dr. Lisa has been too busy writing Wolverine/Rogue fanfic to waste time creating elaborate personae on wine boards.

Oh, and the whole med school/residency thing is taking up some of her time, too.

Speaking of hype: trust me - that crap about med school/residency being a lot of work is an elaborate ruse itself.

God, I hope not. Gambit and Rogue was the last great X-Men love arc, though I like the idea of Cyclops and the White Queen. I suppose both of which could be thanks to the epic work of Chris Claremont.

Yeah okay, the medschool thing turned out to be pretty much a scam. But she's got an impressive Wolverine/Rogue fanfic archive!

Now, waitaminnit! I have a clear recollection of yixin copping to that one. Was he puttin' us on?

Maybe I misunderstood, but I was given to understand that she would ideally be writing Wolverine/Dr. Lisa fanfic, no?

Well, I think that kind of assumption is best left implied, not explicit.

But yeah, sure. Wouldn't you?

Each to his own taste. I'm more of a D. Craig guy, but Hugh is a pretty sweet specimen, no matter which orientation you approach the question with. If Lisa can have a sweet spot for Angelina Jolie, I can dream too, can't I?

He's going to be the Oscar host next year, though. I'm just sayin'....
