Ledru rosé is insanely good.

Agree with you, Jay, about how good Lahaye is.

Nice notes, VLM.

Trying to be happy again.

I've only had the rosé once or twice. The Goulté is the one I really dig. Incredible density.
The Goulté is remarkable.

Remarkably boring.

I opened the 2009 last nght. Looking through previous notes I see this is actually the third time I've had the Goulte and it was no more memorable than before.

I haven't had the 2009.

I've found the 2008 to be intense and deep. Maybe too big boned for your taste?

I often prefer Mme. Ledru's wines with some additional aging in bottle. I found the '06 Goulté sort of simple and froot-y on release. It's much more interesting now, although still needs another couple of years for my taste. My bottles of the 2008 haven't been delivered yet.

On the other hand, the 2002 Brut Nature was delicious on release, and then went through a few rough years. It is really great again lately, though.
