Kill the "what did you drink tonight" and "save the 'what did you drink tonight'" threads.

2006 Fourrier MSD Clos Solon
Beautiful nose, delicate velvet feet on the palate. Another delicious wine and a 2006 that hasn't shut down yet.

And it remained so throughout dinner, though I think it did finally start to shut down towards the end.

1992 Franz Künstler Hochheimer Reichestal Riesling Auslese #4
In a really nice place. Burnished gold in color, haunting bouquet, rich, delicious flavor.

1991 Jadot Beaune Beaucherottes was a pleasant mature drink. Took about a half hour to open up, then another half hour to slowly fade.

2009 Paolo Bea Santa Chiara Bianco was rich, with good body, tannins and acidity. Compelling and delicious wine.

You know, it's funny, I had a Coenobium for the first time in ages, recently (the "normal," not the Rusticum), and it reminded me of how swell a wine that is.

I love just about everything Giampiero makes....

1990 chateau Climens
Somehow (without actually tasting it) I had gotten the idea that the '86 and '88 really overshadowed the 1990. A recent auction lot with several 1990 375s was purchased because of the '86s and '88s in the same lot. But the first bottle opened was just beautiful, rich, balanced, complex, all around delicious. At least equal to the other 2. Sometimes these things just work out.

Comme c'est curieux. I too had CRB gamay 14 last night. So very beautiful. And as coincidence would further have it, the 14 rose at lunch today. Less than perfect. But still complicated and fun. And plenty delicious with smoked turkey. .

And I am having the 2014 CRB Sauvignon right now. This particular bottle has been open in the fridge for over a week, and is better tonight than when first opened. It is less angular in the mouth, without compromising on the flavors and aromas.

2012 Eminence Road Pinot Noir Elizabeth's Vineyard is on deck. It's been more than a year since I last opened a bottle.

2012 Enderle & Moll Pinot Noir was silken and beautiful from a Zalto Burgundy glass but a touch sour and beet rooty from a Zalto Universal glass.

Grumble.

Wow, that's some serious transformation based on glassware.

Liaison, Jay? (Or later rebranded as Cuvée Ozzie) Or Muschelkalk or Bundsandstein?

Mark Lipton

Was it rebranded, though? My '13s still say Liaison.

I denied them permission to use the name Cuvée Ozzie.
