First time a Courtin

The Marie Courtin Resonance extra brut was very delicious last night. Especially after a little air, there is a beautiful richness to the pure red fruit in there. Amazing really for a non dosage. This was the '11 vintage, disgorged in May 2013. It was great with tuna sushi and tempura shrimp. I thought this was a steal for $44.

I am pretty sure I read about this on here, so thanks to whoever is responsible for this recommendation.
My wife was equally smitten.

I think the wine is amazing. Best pairing to date was with some Iranian Beluga and Ossetra. Each side of the pairings were a perfect partner for the other.

Try the new release of the Concordance (100% Pinot , no sulfur. ). If I recall correctly that you are in the PDX area, Kate at OWOB and Vinopolis both have it. Kate was serving it BTG on Friday. I love Dominique's wines. (The '08 efflorescence is also drinking beautifully now, if you come across some. )
