Question about SAQ

I'll be going up to the Eastern Townships in two weeks and I'd like to be more strategic in my purchases than I have in the past. Usually, I just go to the Signature SAQ and hope that they have what I am looking for. This year, I'd like to plan things out a little better and have the wines listed on the website be the wines I buy. Is there a way that I can order the wines online and have them available for pickup from a single SAQ (Signature or otherwise) or my hotel?

TIA,
Joe

It still is, just mixed with other stuff.

Back onto a vinyl jag lately...thus far tonight, it's been mambo-rama, with Machito's "Vacation At The Concord" and "Mucho Macho Machito", along with some NYC 60s/70s salsa from the likes of George Guzman, the LeBron Brothers, and the old-school stylings of Carlos Molina. There was even a little Walter Wanderley to break things up a little.

And I'm playing with a pretty decent blues band in Fullerton on Saturday. Drop by if you're in the area!

Does anybody remember laughter?

My favorite variation was "does anybody remember...forests?" The crowd was unamused.

Many an enjoyable evening was spent making fun of Robert's improvs.

My mother was from Little Silver and my father from North Bergen. Are those near Mahwah, or am I thinking of Totawah? They're all the way on the other side of the country from Fullerton anyway, but if Leo Fender had decided to build electric guitars on the east coast, he probably would have done it in someplace like Rebank or Jersey City. On a good day (a real good day), Fullerton is almost as exciting as either of those two burgs. Its claim to fame is that it's Disneyland-adjacent. Being -adjacent to something is important in southern California, not unlike appending the letters "MD", "Esq", or "MW" to one's surname. Having a house being "Beverly Hills-adjacent" means big bucks in additional value when it comes time to sell. Other than Disneyland, I can't think of much else that Fullerton is adjacent to, except of course to the city of Placentia, which happens to be the west coast headquarters of Thomas' English Muffins. I think that they're from New Jersey too, thereby completing the circle.

-Eden (still pondering the concept of "SAQ" past the "Seldom Asked Questions" concept. "Silly Asian Quaaludes" is probably not it, nor might "Significant Anti-Social Qualities". Or maybe it's just an undercover version of the Strategic Air Quommand?)

Now I get it - SAQ!

I don't think there is a SAQ in either place. But then I've never seen Fullerton and Mahwah together at the same time.

Hey, that's a pretty funny coincidence. I worked for a year at an office in Fullerton, then got on a plane to Newark and worked a year and a half in Mahwah.

Good times, but that was back when I worked too much.

Too late - I'm like the subway, Friday the 13th films, and Jackie Mason's comedy. If you miss something the first time, something else equally appropriate will come along in a little while and you'll forget the first pass.

BTW, saw elsewhere that you ride a Fat City. Isn't the frame about as old as you are? I've got a Yo Eddy hardtail that's still a better bike than I am a rider. It was among the last non-ti frames they built before shutting down and replaced a Wicked that didn't fit properly.

-Eden (and people think that the SAQ posts were obtuse)

However you sort out your SAQ acquisitions, an SAQ store in Montreal (not the main one) is the only place in North America I've ever seen a bottle of AOC Chateau-Chalon.

Actually, the line (at least as recorded on "The Song Remains The Same") was "does anybody remember... trees?" and I recall a fair amount of recorded amusement. My one and only Led Zep concert experience, though, was their last-ever show in CA, when the band's appearance on stage was delayed for an hour or more while Bonzo and Peter Grant administered a beating to several BGP employees.

Fullerton is a mythical town east of Whittier and was rumored to have been occupied by the forces of Mordor many moons ago. The truth will out!

I think your memory has failed you here. On that album/video, it's "laughter." "Forests" came from an MSG show in 1977, though it's possible I'm forgetting some additional instances from that tour.

while Bonzo and Peter Grant administered a beating to several BGP employees.

Bonham kicked the guard that struck Grant's son during the acoustic set, but he then went back onstage and the beating was administered by Grant and John Bindon.
