German tasting notes

German blogger showing how tasting notes should be done (please read aloud with fitting accent):

"Barnstorming Pinot for retro and classic fans”. A wine completely different from most of the market now. Pure and primarily. Meditates quietly by itself. Individual, sensitive and tremendous subtle. Profound and touching with infinite details. Densely but nearly weightless. Magnificent."

It was not. Some unknown winery in the Pfalz. I just loved the bloggers attempt to reach an international audience. But maybe Fass should hire him for his German offerings.

I like the Enderle & Moll wines a lot, along with the Holger Koch Pinots. However, my "crew" has generally not enjoyed them as much as I do. Oh well. More for me, I guess.

I like Enderle & Moll a lot , too, as well as Holger Koch's. They don't really resemble either Burgundy or new World Pinot, nor do they remind me of those I've had from the Jura (regrettably few in number so far). Perhaps I need to create a new mental category for Swabian Pinot or for Bundsandstein Pinot, and maybe that's what is throwing off your crew, Mike.
