For example, at a recent jeebus, i offered to bring '78 Margaux or a '90 Altzinger Kellerberg. a youngish somm (the head somm of one such place) attendee scotched the Margaux b/c it wouldn't work with a mini-vertical of youngish Rougeard Bourg that others in the group had planned, and, as he said, he loves the '78 Margaux, but he gets to taste it at least once a month at work, so the Altzinger and the Rougeards were much more exciting and interesting to him.
