The best damn Chinon I've had in a long while, maybe ever

I'm late to this thread, but I see 89 posts and not one mention of SF/Oakland. So I'll be that guy.

I have some old and old-ish Breton, Raffault, Lenoir and Foucault that needs drinking.

My Baudry is still too young, alas.

Who's in?

Lift a glass in my honor as the absent inspiration, please.
We should do our own thing out here..

Good idea. Serge has a couple of older Chinon bottles he wants to open as well.

If you guys do something in Seattle, I'd love to join. Could bring some '02s.
I'm in, though Bellingham would be better.

Just to update for this Monday, the 23rd, at Racines, I bumped into Scott at the Bowler tasting and he has to go to CA and will miss the dinner, but he has a replacement. Below is the updated list. Just to remind everyone, 7:00 pm, resy is under Scott's name for ten people and there's no need to bring stems.

Jay Miller
Jeff Grossman
Cesar Castro-Pou
Don & Melissa Rice (Don arriving by 8:00 pm)
Brad Kane
Pascaline Lepeltier
Ben Hunting
Jason Adams

Edited. Mistakenly had Karen for NY when she's CA. We have a spot open for Monday, if anyone's interested.

Thanks, Brad for making me feel very NYC, having grown up on Staten Island. Another time.

I'm hoping to be there in late May/early June. Wait for me, I'll bring something.
Great, will target this timeframe. Even though that Kraft guy is threatening to come.

Do we know what bottles we'll have for tomorrow? To bring another producer into the discussion I'm bringing a 76 Couly-Dutheil Madeleine and perhaps an 02 l'Echo by the same maker.
