word from the goode guy. . .

I find the comments section most revealing. Andrew Halliwell with... " I haven’t tried most of the wines you list, so I can’t comment, but thanks for the tips."

Well, if you can't comment, don't write another four more paragraphs. And if you haven't even had a Lapierre, you're wearing it on your sleeve, son.

... then: "I just don’t like nasty, sour, Bretty, horse-piss wines at 4 a glass when I just had a lovely glass of Godello for 1.50, whether they are natural or not."

I can recognize horse-piss, too, Andy. And bullshit.

Great piece.

The author also claims that Ciroc vodka is okay because it's made from grapes and not grains. Which is the booze I always imagined people on a paleo diet drank anyway. Seal blubber martini anyone?

Gluten is the new phlogiston, Greg. Its wondrous properties are beyond measure (quite literally). And just wait until the homeopathy crowd get ahold of it and find that, at 10^24-fold dilution it's still capable of imparting its nefarious effects.

While poisonous at 1x, it actually becomes a remedy for countless ailments after 25-30 1:100 dilutions.
