Alain Robert Le Mesnil Réserve '90?

Does anybody have experience with this wine or even the producer? I found a case in my inventory and opened 6 or so bottles or the beginning of a pizza lunch last week for friends to help celebrate Mark's and my 30th anniversary. It is pretty interesting. Definitely a bit oxidized at this point, and it's fizz is very gentle, but it is pretty damn good. Ripe pear skin flavors and a terrific bone dry finish. I'm enjoying a bottle now preparing dinner and finding it pretty captivating. Some where between old Chablis and manzanilla pasada, with a touch of Lauer '91 Sekt reserve.

Are you also, like me, finding it a bit tired, as in inexpressive? It seems a bit closed, though it's hard to imagine a wine this age being closed. Unless closing is a post-bottling, rather than post-production, phenomenon.
