A few of my work peeps like to come down into the ground with me, lay out a few goodies from Dickson's and Buon Italia, and pull some corks:
Clos Rougeard 2001 Saumur-Champigny - a gift from a client to the cellar boys, who shared with us; lovely, gentle, sous-bois and cassis, drinks a little old though
Brooks 2012 Riesling "Bois Joli" - well, this is glou-glou: zippy acidity, just a bit sweet, clean, crisp; everybody's coming over for a glass because Brooks is a popular girl
Pont de Breux 2011 Cotes du Jura Trousseau VV "Le Calice" - typical Jura: tart, earthy, jumpy, nervous, very yum with the food but maybe a bit much for the non-geeks

And a note on a bottle during the week:
A La Tache 2010 Saint-Joseph "Cuvee Badel" - day 1: painfully young and woody(?); day 4: my mouth is full of olives but there are still splinters in my gums; day 6: well, this has become a really nice Northern Rhone wine, olives and a gentle porkiness, tannins smoothed-out
