Abv 11.5%. Apparently little or no added SO2. This used to be called Regnie. My first bottle a few months ago was tight and showed promise but wasn't all that pleasant. Last night's bottle was all open for business. Plenty enough complexity to ward off boredom and deliciousness to burn. Bottle didn't last very long with mildly spiced RG San Francisco beans, rice, argula and roast chicken.

This thread has me thinking about roast chicken. Was there not a lengthy roast chicken thread at one point? Has my memory failed me, or have my research skills? I just spent 20 futile minutes with the search function.

The Good Life
BY TRACY K. SMITH
When some people talk about money
They speak as if it were a mysterious lover
Who went out to buy milk and never
Came back, and it makes me nostalgic
For the years I lived on coffee and bread,
Hungry all the time, walking to work on payday
Like a woman journeying for water
From a village without a well, then living
One or two nights like everyone else
On roast chicken and red wine.

Yes! Thank you Kirk.

I knew it was my research skills and not my memory. Don't tell the firm.

Nice.
It has been awhile, but I remember those rare nights when we ate and drank well.
I don't think I appreciate those nights near as much now.
Best, Jim
