Jeebus in Wash DC, 8/24

Next door to Cashion's is Mintwood Place. I'd opt for the latter if you are looking for dinner in that neighborhood.

If you go to Estadio, order the grilled scallions.

Etto is also good, on 14th St.

I might be around then for a jeeb - keep me in the loop.

I am liking la piquette across the street from two amys. Estadio is good although i have only been once because they don't take reservations (altho the GM told me to call him if I want in). If you and your daughter will eat Indian, reserve at Rasika. Great restaurant and very difficult to get in.

Bfast? Dunno don't eat that out. Go to Breadfurst on Connecticut. Brunch could be ardeo or even ripple if sunday.

I would not bother with adams morgan (where cashio s and mintwood are) altho there is a good ramen joint there plus great falafel. Logan circle or shaw more happening. i like kapnos and lupo verde in logan circle and dino in shaw. If exciting vegan appeals try Elizabeth's Gone Raw but it is open friday only.

Was in DC a couple of weeks ago and was totally blown away by Rasika. What a great restaurant!

FYI - I did have to wait a long time for a single space at the bar.

Jeebus in Wash DC, 8/23 or 24I'll be in the area to help my daughter settle in at American University. Any interest in jeeb'ing on one of those evenings? I'm not sure which it will be yet. I'll know after American sends the activities schedule in early June.

I have posted here, as well as the Jeebus page, because as we all know, no one reads the Jeebus page.

I read the jeebus page on the reg.

Keith, Jonathan, Cole, Michael? Think you'll be able to make it?

C'mon VLM, grace us with your presence!

Larry, I'd love to but it's going to be hard for me to pull off. I'll do my best.

You said you could make it shortly after I restarted the thread. There was radio silence for 4 days after that from the other folks.

I like chopped liver.

Ok we need to do some planning because It is no longer so easy to find a place that will host us and all of the stems we will need. I can probably arrange Dino in shaw. Any other ideas? Does that work? And how many are we?
