Why I suck at blind tasting

People just haven't been opening the right wines.

At last night's dinner (part of our blind tasting group) I correctly identified one of the wines exactly for only the second time in the 5 years we've been doing this. The wine?

2009 Clos Roche Blanche Cot

For those keeping score the only other wine I've ever done that with was (no suprise) the 2001 Muller Catoir Haardter Mandelring Scheurebe Spatlese.

At least I correctly identified the Plouzeau as being Cab Franc even if I then went on to say the Vieux Chateau Certan was Cornas.
