I really love it. It reminds me a bit of the Mourre du Tendre Cotes du Rhones, which in my mind is high praise.

Eric, does this get raised in foudre? Maybe sits there a bit longer than typical? This is the 2012 I'm talking about.
 
Hey Eric, I just saw your earlier post. Does the concrete allow oxidation at a similar rate as old wood do you think? This just has that older school style I associate with longer elevage.
 
Indeed! Drank a bottle tonight. My ninety year old mother loved it, and I loved watching her drink it. Thanks for posting about it.

I don't really know. I would say the very short maceration (infusion for the natural geek crowd) is the key here as the style is concerned.
 
It was fun, the Tour ran thru St. Julien et St. Alban on Sunday, which is where these grapes are from. Chilling out watching the footage and lo and behold there it was. Neat part of the country!!!!
