Hello
Last friday, Le Bon Tyran (Cole K.) was in Paris at the VIP room of the TGJP. We made a very nice dinner with 6 Morgon 2009 (Foillard, Lapierre, Burgaud, Bouland...). See our new website available on desktop, tablet or smartphone :
www.tgjp.com.
Ask any questions on the forum and I will try to answer.
Best regards

Thanks, PAB. Now I somewhat regret finishing my 05 De Moor a couple of years ago; what they do with their land and vines is remarkable.

I've always had a vague sense that the Burgaud wines are built for relatively early enjoyment, even the Morgon. I've been skeptical reading notes elsewhere that the 09 Foillard wines are ready to try, but may open one now, after reading your report; and, having recently speculated on Bouland, am pleased to see a favorable note here. Tant pis neither Desvignes nor Roilette made it to the TGJP table last week.

Cheers.

It was the first flight for Beaujolais. We will have a second one with another 6 bottles of 2009 (Desvignes, Roilette, Métrat...) in one or two month.
The best estates - Foillard & Chamonard - should have in this vintage a long life.

I have such limited storage and could not justify holding on to any of my 2009 Beaujolais. But they were so delicious young, especially Foillard and Chamonard. Sounds like fun.
