DP's on three 08 Beaujolais

A couple from last night -

08 Chermette Fleurie Garants - Sophisticated, dark toned, a bit brooding. A little clenched up.

08 Roilette - More clenched up. A rare Roilette I wouldn't've ID'ed as such.

08 Lapierre - surprisingly light and simple.

I don't think any of these three showed all that well. I would wait a little right now, maybe a couple years or so.

Oh - also, an 06 Tardive the other night was delicious, open, pretty big, a little loose, but all on.

a bottle of 2008 Roilette tonight; fully resolved, drinking well. Very pretty color, but also suggesting the wine is at its apogee. Pleasant, well balanced, true. Nose not the most forthcoming of Roilettes. Easy to drink with a Tuesday dinner.
