I wasn't familiar with this producer but Allen Meadows gave an unequivocal recommendation. I couldn't resist pulling a bottle to see what's going on.
Domaine Francois Lumpp Givry Vigne Rouge 1er Cru '13 -- Beautiful ruby red color, a bit brittle initially but gained some stature with air, balance seemed fine, ample fruits and acid, already reasonable roundness, seems destined for good development over the next 8 - 10 years, remarkable value.
Good complement to braised, with cocoanut-based sauce, chicken and Italian sausage, sweet potatoes, green peas.
Worth looking for if it can be found at its (very) comfortable price point.
