Seems legit

I thought these wines were the inputs into his auction wines; the trick would be to find the right blend of Patriarche and Kistler to make DRC.

Yes, exactly. He bought up a lot of off vintage old Burgundy from less regarded producers to make his old DRC.

The auction itself is not open to the public, that's illegal in TX.

I'm looking into finding a licensed retail/logistics partner so I can get some of these wines. There are a lot of very interesting ones, and - how's this for irony? - the provenance is about as good as it gets, at least as long as the government didn't cook them in the truck on the way to Texas.

What a weird law. Do you also have to buy livestock in burlap bags?

You tryin' to put our burlap bag manufacturers out of business? I'll have you know they give huge campaign contribu... I mean they have huge importance to our community.
