People who constantly point out grammar mistakes are jerks, scientists find.

Here is the original work. It is inconclusive, a fact that the authors state several times. They regard the importance of the study to be that the reader's personality matters, not just the speaker's. (Well, duh.)

Jim, I'm guessing there's some tongue-in-cheek meaning (read: inside joke) with your (otherwise out-of-character) posting here.

Brilliant trolling of the grammar (or is it usage?) "jerks".

Wow, this is what I call a scientific study...

It is a losing battle, however, with respect to grammar--most of the scientific manuscripts sound like they have been translated from the German (verbs used ad nauseum as adjectives). Those missing articles? Just blow them off...

A new study from PS 99 in Staten Island indicates that people most prone to grammatical errors like residual sugar in their wines. May the chips fall where the truth lies or something like that according to the Donald.
