I've never had a Muller-Catoir that wasn't at least extremely good.
Not bad at all. I remember drinking a bunch of mid-90s Baudry around 10 years ago. And I thought I was living well. I probably had more Croix Boissee than Grezeaux, but I agree about the special combination of that Grezeaux and 96 distinctiveness.
And nice to hear some positive words on Julian Haart. The pricing is so aggressive for a new producer (to me) that I have not been tempted.

Not sure that the Haart is worth the tariff, but it is very good wine. Different from the others in that idiom. Fuller, I think. Maybe more Austrian (Hirtzberger/Pichler) power with Mosel flavors?
That 1996 Grézeaux is one special wine.

96 Grézeaux is indeed special. Had it once, and it was thrilling.
The '01 Catoir Burgergarten is one of my favorite Spatlese. (I'm guessing from the descriptors that this was the older vines (#2134) bottling?) Such a shame that the fruit from those vines/that parcel is now going into GG.
