I opened this for Chanukah dinner. Popped and poured. Ruby red in color, mostly clear and bright. The nose has lots of cherries, some spice and a bit of strawberry. Medium bodied. On the palate, this is simple at first but after some air it shows layering. Cherry and spice with some cedar notes. Nice acidity. Good finish. Still plenty of time left but it is in its tertiary stage of life.
