NWR: Pizza and bagels in NYC

For the same reason this ("I also prefer Spaghettios to fresh-made pasta with meatballs. I also prefer Banquet frozen boxed fried chicken to that weird fresh stuff.") was brought into the conversation. Why does everything have to be so linear?

Linear?

I think there's a pretty wide consensus that slow cooked stews with lots of ingredients improve with a moderate amount of time for the ingredients and flavors to meld.

But that has nothing to do with pizza, which is neither slow cooked nor has lots of ingredients and flavors.

It seems De Blasio had already won the election at the time of the incident.
So it was okay to throw off the sheep's clothing?

That depends on whether you are concerned about eating pizza with utensils or winning elections. Personally I am most concerned about finding a good slice for lunch today.

For bagels you want to go uptown, to Absolute Bagels.

Finally made it back there after about 15 years. I loved their bagels back then and they're still a good NYC bagel. Thank you Chris.

Broadway and 108 Street? No wonder it took 15 years to get there.

I went all the time when I was teaching classes at Columbia.

Damn! I wish it had been there when I was at Columbia. OTOH, we had H&H back then.
