Sorry for the mispost -- not sure anyone looks at the Jeebus board that often.

My tasting group has a couple open seats at a Champagne dinner this Friday at Camino in Oakland. Here's the lineup. Post or message me and I can provide more details if anyone in the area is interested.

Flight 1: Pinot Meunier
2010 Bereche Rive Gauche
2010 Prevost Beguines

Flight 2: Blanc de Blancs
2002 Doquet Mesnil
2002 Taittinger Comtes

Flight 3: Pinot-Driven Blends
2004 Philipponat Cuvee 1522
2004 Bollinger Grande Annee

Flight 4: Chard-Driven Blends
1999 Tarlant Cuvee Louis
1999 Ployez-Jacquemart d'Harbonville

Dang! I would've loved to join you but I'll be on a camping trip.

Also, I'm raising my eyebrow several mm at the Tarlant being classified as chard-driven as I believe it's half pinot noir. I haven't had it in years though. Do you feel that the chardonnay is clearly in the lead?

Slaton, I thought the Louis was 60/40 Chard, but your post prompted me to check and this release is 50/50. So one Chard dominant and one to-be-determined in the glass!
