The Pif was similar to but not quite the same as the Cabernet. I don't think the last few Pifs had Cabernet Sauvignon, but they did have Cot in them. I always thought the Cabernet Sauvignon was a big part of what made the CRB Cabernet so great.

I also don't recall any Cabernet Sauvignon going into it. I saw that at least some of was going into a rose made by Morantin. Criminal.
The Pineau writeup said the Pet Nat is Cabernet Sauvignon... I cried a little.

Pineau 2015 "Roche Blanche" SB pours like glycerin and is pretty odd all around. Sadly, cannot recommend this vintage. Hopefully he sorts himself out.

Welcome, John Tucker, to the best place on the iInternet to discuss fruitless wine and high-end stereos.

I loved the Pineau sauvignon blanc!

Glad you liked it KB. Some folks at RW enjoyed it, but I couldn't get passed the way it oozed out of the bottle. Every bottle. I look forward to trying it again next year.
