Milan restaurant recommendations

My first post in a long time... I've already asked some of you in person for Milan advice, but Brother Dentice's inspirational Paris sermon reminded me that perhaps I should post to the broader disorderly community.

What are your favorite places to eat in Milan? We'll be there for a couple days in November and were particularly looking for a place that serves classic Milanese food, with top notch ingredients, good wine list, that will at least try to accommodate my wife's pescatarian ways.

As we'll be there in November, any places you'd recommend in the city where we might be served delicious food with white truffles?

Also any wine bar or wine shop recommendations? The more disorderly, the better.

I highly, highly, highly recommend going to Ciripizza for lunch. Highly.

From what you describe it does not necessarily sound like you would enjoy Aromando Bistrot as much as I did, but I'll mention it anyway. The issue being that it is not classic. It is instead just amazing.

can I piggy-back on Gene's question? Unfortunately, i am looking solely for places open for dinner on Sundays (!); so Levi's great rec is out for me... :(

i have always enjoyed Osteria Grand Hotel via Ascanio Sforza 75, very simple, excellent food and good wine list, but what other Sunday night spots do folks like?

Kirk, I booked Rebelot for Sunday lunch (I believe they're open for dinner as well) and Ratana for dinner. Both seemed to be well-reviewed, fwiw.

I go to Milan a lot but I tend to mostly eat at the same places.

I am a huge fan of Rovello 18 (lots of orange wine, if that's your thing and other interesting wines). Simple dishes with great ingredients.

I will admit to dining a lot at Osteria del Treno, not a brilliant wine list but fairly authentic regional (Lombard) cooking and good ingredients.

Spazio Duomo was fun as a sort of restaurant training school kind of place.

And though I have not been there in a while, the happy hour at Cantine Isole (via Paolo Sarpi) was phenomenal.

I had an awesome meal at Osteria del Treno but it was about 10 years ago. My other favorite that trip was Osteria del Binari.
